Flightradar24 für Windows Phone 8 jetzt verfügbar

FlighRadar24 ist eine erst kürzlich veröffentlichte Windows Phone 8 App, mittels derer ihr weltweit den Überblick über alle Flüge in Echtzeit behaltet. Damit stellt ihr also fest, welches Flugzeug gerade am Himmel über euch fliegt, indem ihr einfach die Kamera zum Flugzeug schwenkt. Zusätzlich lässt sich so feststellen, wohin das jeweilige Flugzeug fliegt, in welcher Höhe und mit welchem Tempo es unterwegs ist.
Des Weiteren besteht die Möglichkeit, die Flugzeuge nach Airline filtern zu lassen und so einen bestimmten Flug zu finden. Benötigt der Nutzer weitere Informationen, kann er einfach mit einem Klick ins Cockpit einsteigen. Die App besitzt nämlich auch eine Cockpit-Ansicht, die dem Nutzer eine Live-Ansicht bietet.

Chippi, unser Videoredakteur,  durfte die App im Vorfeld bereits als Beta-Tester probieren und erhielt einen sehr guten Eindruck von ihr. Die 9MB große Anwendung kostet 2,99€ und ist lediglich für Windows Phone 8 verfügbar. Ausführliche Informationen zur Verfügbarkeit der Routen bietet die App-Beschreibung:

The exception is in the US and Canada where we get radar data from the FAA and can track almost all planes, but with a five-minute delay.
