Die Microsoft Garage hat heute überraschenderweise die eigene App Kaizala für Windows 10 Geräte veröffentlicht. Mit der Anwendung ist es Mitarbeitern in einem Unternehmen möglich, untereinander zu kommunizieren. Neben einfachen Einzel- und Gruppenchats ermöglicht Kaizala noch einige nette Zusatzfeatures. So können Mitarbeiter beispielsweise den Standort von Kollegen anfordern, Umfragen starten und Hilfe von Kollegen anfordern.
Besonders erfreulich ist die Veröffentlichung, da Kaizala der Microsoft Garage entspringt. Dort können Microsoft-Mitarbeiter in ihrer Freizeit mit Ressourcen des Redmonder Konzerns eigene Anwendungen und Dienste programmieren und an Projekten arbeiten. Die meisten dieser Projekte werden allerdings für die konkurrierenden Plattformen Android und iOS veröffentlicht.
Nachdem Kaizala vor etwa einem Jahr auf Android erschien und wenige Monate danach für iOS veröffentlicht wurde, hat es diese App glücklicherweise doch noch auf Windows Phones geschafft. Wenn man sich Microsofts Business-„Strategie“ der mobilen Windows Plattform anschaut, erscheint eine Veröffentlichung auf der eigenen Plattform nur sinnvoll. Momentan lässt sich die App noch nicht herunterladen, wir werden euch aber selbstverständlich informieren, sobald sich dies ändert.
