In den vergangenen Tagen berichtete USA Today, dass Microsoft sich darauf vorbereite heute Office 15 (alias Office 2013) vorzustellen, wurde allerdings nicht ganz ernst genommen, da keine stichhaltigen Belege für diese Berichterstattung dargelegt werden konnten.
Nun wendet sich das Blatt zugunsten USA Today, denn Microsoft hat eine Pressekonferenz für heute Mittag PDT (entspricht 21 Uhr in Deutschland) angekündigt und zudem in der vergangenen Woche den Office Next Blog online geschaltet. Der genaue Wortlaut zur Ankündigung der Pressekonferenz lautet wie folgt:
